Welcome

Welcome to Little Loves Photography. Please bear with me while I get our new website up and running. Thank, Colleen

Tips for your session

Birth Session:

C-sections don’t scare me. I have had 2 of them! Most people don’t think a doctor will allow it but many of them do just ask your doctor.

We will talk before hand but please keep my updated how labor is going. You don’t want me to miss the birth. I would rather wait awhile then miss it all together.

Please let your doctor and nurses know that you plan on having your birth photographed.

Newborns:

Please schedule the session ASAP! I like to do newborns before 10 days old. This is when the babies are most squishy and sleepy. The newborn pictures that you see on my site become nearly impossible as the baby gets older.

A warm house is best crank the heat up before I get there.

Please have the baby undressed before I get there also loosen the diaper up so we don’t get diaper lines.

Sessions can take up to 3 hours please be prepared for that. Its best not to plan things for right after our session some babies take extra time.

If the baby wants to eat don’t worry the baby can take as many breaks as it needs.

Your are mommy you know best, but please know that I do know what I am doing and I will never attempt anything that might hurt the baby, its just not my thing.

Even if you haven’t yet or don’t plan to give the baby a nuk please bring on to the session.

Newborns look funny in clothes. This is why you always see naked newborn pictures. Please do not worry if the baby poops and pees on my stuff. Almost every single one does. My washing machine and I are very use to it.

Children:

What to wear?
Dress your child in what ever they will be comfortable in, if your child isn’t comfortable it will show.

Bright colors are fun!

Have a certain place you want to shoot? Let me know I am always up for new and fun ideas.

Have your little ones fed nothing is worse then a hungry child.

Please keep in mind nap times when scheduling your session.

Bring some none messy snacks.

Try not to hover or tell them to say cheese. We want real smiles not fake ones. Some times I may even ask you to hide while I am shooting.

Try to bring only those who are in the session to the session. Distractions are hard for kids and toddlers. We don’t want them looking off to the side where grandpa is we want them looking at the camera.

Families
Please do not all dress the same. Think complimentary colors. If you need help check out my what to wear guild on my website.

Relax and have fun. I know its hard when you hate to be in pictures but trust me if you relax and have fun it will show in the pictures. We want the pictures to show what your family is really like not some stiff super posed pictures.
